When trying to upgrade Grav (as suggested), the download initiated, but never ended.
This had happened before, but normally when switching to another section of the CMS, and then back to the dashboard, the upgrade had completed.
This time, though, the update wasn’t finished - it seems that the download link was or is broken:
“HTTP/2 404 returned for “https://github.com/getgrav/grav/releases/download/1.7.50.9/grav-update-v1.7.50.9.zip ”.”
If I have it in mind correctly, I think before there was another error message “Invalid API Token” or so.
Anyone else having the same issue, or does someone know how to solve it?
Thanks and looking forward to any answer!
Not sure if the cause is the same, but I’ve seen quite a few issues when people upgrade to the latest version of Grav. And “latest” is a bit fluid, since a “latest” seem to arrive almost every day.
I’ll point you to this post:
@Francois , Andy (aka rhuk) is making lots of changes to 1.7 and seems to go 2 steps foreward and 1 step backward…
Unfortunately, most issues are not being logged on the Grav repo, but reported on Discord. Hence, it’s hard to find if your issue is a known issue.
Your issue seems to be a Grav core (or its libraries) related, which should be reported at the Grav repo . Andy doesn’t visit this forum, but lives on Discord and Github.

Thanks and yes, I was also wondering about the many updates recently (after many months of none). But no problem, as long as things keep working.
I noticed now that when I click on the link of the error message I cited above, an error message (not found) comes up.
So I assume that either the link to the upgrade package is wrong, or that the linked zip file was deleted from the upgrade file server.
Maybe he’s just correcting something and then sending out another upgrade?
Just to let you know, here’s today’s note from Andy (the lead developer):
FYI, i’ve removed ALL the 1.7.50.x releases until I can get a handle on the safe-upgrade issues that we’ve been having. This was intended to be a better upgrade system for Grav, but it’s actually been a nightmare, and is causing more issues than it solves. The next version will be a 1.7.51 release with these issues sorted
