New line in NextGen Content Editor

Hi,

We’ve recently purchased the NextGen Content Editor and are experiencing some errors when going from “expert” mode to “normal” mode.
Firstly all of my text (mark tagged) text loses the tag and turns into plain text. My second issue is related to the new lines made in markdown using the spacebar twice.

What I want:

Text
Like
This

But it transforms into this:

Text Like This

I’ve tried using the br tag inside markdown but that transforms the text to :

Text

Like

This

Any suggestions?
