Just migrated my site from Hugo to Grav!

I just finished migrating my personal site from Hugo to Grav. I liked the speed of Hugo, but there were just too many steps involved in adding new content and putting it live. Absolutely loving the Grav Admin panel as it makes this very easy.

There’s not much there at the moment, but now it’s much easier to add content, I’ll be able to start blogging on a regular basis.

The theme is a custom one I developed myself, using Bulma. I’m not a front-end web designer so it’s a bit rough around the edges, but I’ll get such a person to improve it when I get chance.

Any comments are most welcome! Really pleased to be part of the Grav community!

Hi.
I’m planning to migrate from hugo to grav next days or weeks.
I already have a blog with multiple posts on three main categories (that are menu items), some posts belong to more than one category. I’m just trying to figure out how to get it right on grav. I loved hugo performance but since I have so little time on my personal laptop, I can’t have new posts online. But with grav, it’s easy to add content using a smartphone (may be a dedicated android app would be great).
In your website I saw that the blog contained all posts but with tags. Another thing, the contact page should have a contact form instead of the email address (to avoid spamming).

@miro5001, I don’t think you post is related to the first post which is just a showcase. Also bumping an old post is rarely beneficial.

It would be better if you created a new post with a title matching the question you have.

I’ve searched for ‘migrate from hugo to grav’ and the first result was this thread (even on Google).
I’ve also commented about his website, he was asking for.
And yes, bumping a very old thread is not good (I didn’t see its date), sorry…
I’ll create a new thread with the right questions after some more reading.

I’m afraid it wasn’t clear you have commented on OP’s website…

OK, no need to create a new page, unless you have a specific question
