How to insert HTML5 audio?

I tried to get HTML5 audio working, but no luck so far.
I inserted in .md file text area:

The Songs are in this folder. The audio player pops up for a very short time... and fades out quickly.

I’m sorry, my src linked to the root folder. The audiofile was in pages _services folder.
I put the file in the root… and now it works!
