Flex objects error when cklicking on 'pages' in admin view

Hi there,

I am completely new to Grav and have not used or heard of it before this day. I installed on my webspace and am getting the following error message when clicking on ‘pages’ in the admin view:

ERROR: flex-objects.html.twig template not found for page: ``

Flex Objects

I have already searched the forum and indeed, the same error message has appeared before. However, the solutions did not work for me. The only thing I did was to disable the flex-objects plugin, but that is necessary for the admin panel, so I get a message to enable it again.

As I have no idea where else to look, can you give me a hint what might be broken? As I said earlier, I just installed Grav, have not added any plugins yet and just have the bare Grav + admin panel installation plus the Quark theme.

Thx.

Assuming it’s a fresh install of Grav and Admin, it sounds like you missed some files while uploading to the server

Thanks for your help. I did re-install, but at first got the same result. I then tried again today, and for whatever reason, it is working now. I was wondering if sometimes Grav is a bit slow, e.g. when activating a plugin or a theme. When I hit F5, it will usually not show any difference at first and only when trying again, changes will become visible.

@tipap,

Grav caches a lot of things for performance reasons. That also means you’ll sometimes need to:

  • logout from Admin and login again to refresh the cache of Admin
  • and/or clear the Grav caches from within Admin or using $ bin/grav cache.
