Safe email filter produces w3c validation error

I just noticed that using the twig filter for safe email output (Twig Tags, Filters & Functions | Grav Documentation) results in error messages when using https://validator.w3.org/.

Error: Character reference was not terminated by a semicolon.
At line 171, column 89
2&#46&#100&#101↩

Any ideas? :frowning:
