Should I be fine upgrading to PHP7 at this point, as long as I’m not relying on the APCu cache extension?
Yes, I’m using PHP7 on all my testing too. APCu is not enabled currently in Grav, until doctrine/cache is compatible with it, so you won’t get any error even if it’s available on your server.
