Is it possible to user NodeBB as forum / commenting system in Grav?
If so, any tips how to configure this?

AFAIK, a bridge or plugin for doing this does not exist.
What you can do is what Grav itself has done for this community forum, which is using another third party forum (i.e. Discourse). It is simply set up as a subsite of the main site (i.e. discourse.getgrav.org).
So if your site is example.org, you can set up NodeBB on a subsite named nodebb.example.com, and use that as the “forum section” of your website.
