About starting point of Grav Learn2 theme

As I found Grav Learn2 theme very interesting for documentation and quite similar to what we find for GitBook, I would like to know if this theme is based on an existing HTML template, or if it has been created from scratch.

It’s created from scratch for the learn.getgrav.org site. We just made it available for others to use.
